1/3/2009, Breakthrough UK Trial a Strong Success

Patientrack announced the successful conclusion of its groundbreaking trial at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT). Associate Professor Dr Michael Buist indicated that the trial produced very strong results, commenting “ We are very happy with the results of the trial at Manchester Royal Infirmary. While we cannot specifically comment on the results until formally published but in general terms the results show substantial reductions in mortality rates, average length of stay and admissions to intensive care as a result of the Patientrack Solution.” Associate Professors Buist commented, “Whichever way you look at it, the trial has been a great success and partnering with the CMFT has been excellent."

Sam Hollander, Patientrack’s UK based Director, praised the Clincial Team at Manchester saying “ The Manchester Team lead by Dr Jane Eddelston, Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia, Clinical Director of Critical Care and Clinical Advisor to the Department of Health for Critical Care, has been visionary in its approach to reducing Adverse Events, and the commitment shown by the entire team during the trial has been outstanding.”

Hollander commented that the strong trial results will accelerate commercialisation of the Patientrack Solution with strong interest from within the NHS Trust network.
